Adobe is expanding the adoption of its generative AI engine, Firefly, with updates announced at Adobe Summit EMEA. The AI-powered tool now offers text generation for social media, marketing campaigns, and more.

The updates aim to cater to a wide range of users, from marketers to everyday enthusiasts. Adobe Firefly for Enterprise, a subscription-based platform, and Adobe Express, a free beta version, will provide access to these features.

Major brands like IBM, Mattel, and Dentsu are already leveraging Firefly, generating over 200 million images since March. Adobe enables users to custom-train Firefly with their branded assets, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines.

Copyright concerns have hindered the adoption of some generative AI platforms. To address this, Adobe offers IP indemnity to enterprise clients, protecting them against copyright lawsuits related to content created using Adobe Firefly.

The rise of generative AI has sparked interest and concerns among businesses. Software buyers plan to increase AI spending by 60% in 2024, emphasizing the importance of AI capabilities. Adobe aims to set standards and respect intellectual property while competing in the market.
