Microsoft Just Made Sora Free for Everyone?!
Yes, really. You can now generate AI videos using Microsoft’s Sora—completely free—via the Bing app on iOS and Android.
And you can download them directly.
Here’s how to try it out 👇
Step 1: Get the Bing App
• Head to the App Store or Google Play
• Download the official Microsoft Bing app
• Tap the bottom-right tab
• Select “Video Creator” from the mini-apps (see image)
💡 Pro tip: You can also just type in Bing’s search bar:
“Create a video of…”
It works the same way.
Step 2: Generate Your Video
Just type your idea into the prompt. Example:
“A robot dancing in Times Square at night.”
After it’s generated:
• Tap the video to enlarge
• Tap the three dots (•••) at the bottom-right
• Choose Download or Share
⚠️ FYI: Videos are 5 seconds long in vertical 9:16 format (horizontal 16:9 is coming soon).
