OpenAI Opens Up Custom Instructions Feature to All Users

OpenAI expands user control in ChatGPT! Custom instructions, previously exclusive to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, are now available for all, including free tier users. This empowers users to shape AI responses based on their preferences and needs.

No more repetitive prompts! Users can set response criteria like character count or tone, saving time during interactions. This feature, introduced in July, enhances convenience and personalization, making conversations smoother. 

Teachers and developers rejoice! With custom instructions, educators crafting lesson plans won't need to repeatedly mention their teaching grade, and developers can request responses in specific languages or exclude some. Flexibility meets efficiency!
